Passenger ferries are similar to
RoPax ships, but they have more cabins
and more entertainment areas for
passengers. They also carry cargo, but
usually just cars. The main business
involves passengers, and cargo/cars are

for ship owners. They carry cargo, mostly
on wheels, but they have enough cabins
for destination travelers to make tourism

RoRo ships are not designed like other
cargo ships. In particular, deep-sea-going
car carriers have dramatically different
deck house designs. We believe that all
car carriers should be built with modular
cabins because of the amount of deck

areas for cargo ships are quite similar,
even among ships that vary in size and
type of cargo to be transported. Even big
VLCC ships for 6000 TEU containers have
deck houses that are similar to those on

Tanker: Accommodation areas and cabins
for tankers or bulk cargo ships are quite
similar to other cargo ships. A deck house
is a rather narrow structure with several
decks. The present building method uses
a lot of steel bulkheads, which cuts the

Offshore projects are demanding for the
supplier, because of general safety
requirements and an emphasis on quality
documentation. Crew members on drill
ships and accommodation platforms work
hard in dangerous conditions for lengthy
