WAS SOLUTION FOR PASSENGER FERRY

Passenger ferries are similar to RoPax ships, but they have more cabins and more entertainment areas for passengers. They also carry cargo, but usually just cars. The main business involves passengers, and cargo/cars are often secondary for business. Passenger ferries can operate as destination ships on longer routes, but they often make mini cruises for recreation purposes. Passengers want to have some good food, be entertained, socialize, and relax for a short time.

The amount of cabins needed for passengers is normally several hundred. Passenger ferries also require more recreational public spaces than RoPax vessels. In addition, more crew cabins are necessary since a larger crew is essential for providing services and making the trip enjoyable for passengers.

There are normally different passenger cabin categories, and the level of outfitting and material selections may vary. Cabins are carefully designed by the owner and architect together and our goal is to match the design ideas as closely as possible.

In addition, we offer accommodation areas with modular cabin units, which are fully furnished at our factory. We also design the area according to general arrangements and based on the architect's drawings and specifications. We offer mock-up services to help the owner make final decisions about the essential details. We provide installation service for the cabins, and we also offer panels and other components for the public area that have been built by specialists.

We offer lifetime spare parts services and the possibility of upgrading the cabin area for different uses.

We are supported by Piikkio Works Oy for passenger ferry projects.
